Start of aircraft nr. 5 test campaign

Ampyx Power has completed development of its nr. 5 aircraft. Based on the test results of earlier prototype systems and a full safety analysis, this carbon aircraft includes critical improvements with regards to safety features, structural design, control software and weight. Through spring and summer of 2012 Ampyx Power will test autonomous power generation with this aircraft at its restricted airspace test facility in the Netherlands.
