Mathieu Mirmont MSc
Mathieu Mirmont is responsible for designing, building and integrating the autopilot software within the PowerPlane system. Mathieu has deep knowledge on real time software development which allows him to design and build tailored solutions for embedded systems with demanding real time constraints. He has worked in multi-disciplinary teams in aerospace, scientific environments and hardware design companies, where he further developed the skills to communicate and align across multi-disciplinary teams so that work is synchronized and concurrent and knowledge is shared. Mathieu has a Masters Degree in Computer Science at Epitech (EuroPean Institute of Technology), Paris, France
Diederik Koning MSc
Diederik Koning is responsible for business- and organizational development within Ampyx Power. Business Development covers investor relationships, location qualification and marketing & sales. Organizational development involves all areas relevant for professionalization of Ampyx Power on a strategic and tactical level such as project management , organization & governance, formation of business strategy, business process development, sourcing, supply chain etc. Diederik has built thorough experience in both advising roles and project management roles in a wide area of industries within the Business and Information Strategy area of Capgemini Transformation Consulting. He has a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Rob de Bie MSc
Rob de Bie is responsible for the design of the 100 kW PowerPlane and supplier contacts. Rob is an experienced composite engineer. He worked on the structural design and certification of two composite aircraft (a six-seater business aircraft and a two-seat trainer), supervised production of the composite structure of Superbus, and did design work on, and production supervision of a range of composite products including a small submarine, a music instrument and an airfreight container. He has a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Sander Ansems
Sander travelled the world, on a motorbike from the Netherlands to South Africa and with a bio-fueled for wheel drive to Beijing, and is an experienced bungee jump operator. At Ampyx Power, Sander builds the aircraft from nose to tail , using mainly carbon fiber epoxy composites and some aluminium, with great care and dedication.

Dr. Richard Ruiterkamp
Richard Ruiterkamp is the General Director of Ampyx Power. He is one of the co - founders of Ampyx Power and worked as an assistant Professor at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the Delft University of Technology. He holds a PhD in Astrophysics and a Masters degree in Molecular Biology / Biochemistry. Next to his role of general manager, Richard maintains the technical overview, acts as systems engineer and oversees the different technical teams. Richard is responsible for the overall systems integration and airframe construction. His no-nonsense attitude towards technical challenges allow him to fulfill any engineering or construction task.
Ilias Spiliotopoulos MSc
Ilias Spiliotopoulos is responsible for designing, building and integrating the autopilot electronics within the PowerPlane system. The development process has taken future certification into account from the beginning. Ilias supervises a small team of electronic graduates who are building some subsystems according to specifications. Earlier he worked at Delta Utec as electronics integration manager. He was responsible for software and electronics development, including the documentation and testing, of most subsystems of the YES2 satellite. Ilias has a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering & Informatics.
Sören Sieberling MSc
Sören Sieberling is responsible for developing the flight control system. He researched highly sophisticated flight control systems increasing reliability and performance of aircraft at the subdivision Dynamics and Control of Aerospace
Vehicles of the faculty of Aerospace Engineering within the Delft University of Technology . His experience in control system design enables him to function as a linking pin between the software, electronics and automation development streams of the PowerPlane system. He has a cum laude Aerospace engineering Masters degree.
