Ampyx Power

Ampyx Power is a young company located in The Hague. About 15 people are working full time on the developement of the PowerPlane. Ampyx Power has a licence from the Dutch airspace authority to fly the PowerPlane near Kraggenburg in the Noordoostpolder at a field owned by Brennels. In December 2010, Ampyx Power expects to have completed the automation of the 10kW prototype.

Ampyx Power has developed the prototype with a subsidy from SenterNovem and an investment from two angel investors. In January 2010, Ampyx will receive a research grant from two utilities for futher development and automation of the PowerPlane. Ampyx Power is still looking for an investor to supplement the research grant.
