Energy Fund The Hague provides a 1 million loan to Ampyx Power

On June 29, 2016 a loan agreement between the Energy Fund The Hague and Ampyx Power was established for an amount of € 1 million. The loan enables Ampyx Power to accelerate the development of its latest prototype PowerPlane. The company can now give its suppliers orders for the construction of critical system components. Wolbert Allaart, managing director of Ampyx Power: “With this loan, the Municipality of The Hague again supported our efforts to develop a highly innovative next generation wind turbine, that can radically reduce the cost of wind energy. Ampyx Power is based in The Hague since 2009 and this municipality shows an excellent location for a young, innovative company like Ampyx Power, with good infrastructure and facilities for our international, highly qualified team. The support we have been receiving  from the municipality of The Hague since 2010 has always meant a lot to Ampyx Power.”
